Harry Styles Forced to Postpone L.A. Concerts After Catching the Flu – Los Angeles-based Harry Styles fans will have to wait to see the “Watermelon Sugar” singer perform live. Due to a severe case of flu, Styles announced on Saturday that he would have to postpone all three of his Los Angeles performances. On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, Styles was scheduled to perform at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles, in front of a sold-out crowd of 70,000 people.
This is the first time in Styles’ 12-year career as a performer that he has been forced to postpone his appearances. Styles expressed his disappointment on his Instagram story over the weekend. “Towards the end of the show on Wednesday I started feeling ill and I’ve been in bed with the flu ever since. I’ve been doing everything I can to be able to sing tonight, but I’m leaving the doctors’ now and I’m devastated that it’s just not possible,” Styles wrote.
“Until very recently I haven’t had to postpone a show due to illness in the 12 years I’ve been touring. I’m so sorry to do it, and if there was anyway I could do the show I would,” he continued. Styles is scheduled to next perform on stage on November 9. Five more performances remain in Los Angeles, with the 15th of November being the last before the singer flies back to London and then to North America for three concerts in México.
Due to the cancellation, the Forum has rescheduled Styles’ November performances for January 26, 27, and 29, 2023. On the new date, all previously purchased tickets will be honored. Any additional show dates will be performed as planned. According to a tweet from United Center, the Harry’s House artist previously postponed the first of his six-night run in Chicago last month “due to band/crew illness.”
