Sam Underwood Arrested After Alleged Domestic Battery Incident – Sam Underwood, a 36-year-old actor renowned for his performance in Fear the Walking Dead, was arrested on charges of domestic battery following reports of a disturbance in Los Angeles. He was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) after reportedly engaging in a physical altercation with a woman, according to an LAPD spokesperson.
Authorities were summoned to respond to a disturbance in an apartment within the Los Angeles region on October 7th, around 2:30 a.m. Upon arrival, law enforcement was informed of a domestic dispute that had escalated to a physical confrontation. The woman, who remains unidentified with no known connection to Underwood, displayed visible marks on her body but did not necessitate medical treatment, as stated by the police.
Underwood was apprehended on charges of felony domestic battery and subsequently booked and released after spending roughly 10 hours in custody. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is currently in the process of deciding whether or not to file criminal charges against Underwood.
A source also told TMZ — who was first to report the news — that the Dynasty alum has “provided his attorney with photographs, video recordings, and audio recordings — all of which disprove the claims of the party making these accusations against him.” At present, Underwood is in a marital union with Valorie Curry. The two exchanged vows in July 2016, having first crossed paths while working on the set of their film “The Following” in 2013.
