Telegram Users Can Send and Receive Toncoin Within Messenger Chats – According to a tweet from The Open Network (TON) Foundation, Telegram users can now send and receive toncoin straight within the app’s chats. Users can acquire bitcoin through the software’s bot system in addition to toncoin.
The TON Foundation’s toncoin can now be used to transfer and receive cryptocurrency over Telegram. It was previously possible to send digital currency using Telegram-tethered third-party apps.
However, given Telegram’s settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in June 2020, this is the first time toncoin will be available. In October 2019, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a complaint against Telegram about the toncoin initiative.

“You can now send toncoin directly within Telegram chats,” the TON Foundation declared on Twitter. It’s a new way to send Toncoin to any Telegram member without paying transaction fees. With our service, you won’t have to put in long wallet addresses or wait for confirmations.
Users can send and receive toncoin, but they can also utilize the wallet bot system to buy BTC. The TON project was canceled by Telegram in August 2020, although the community collected $1 billion in April to fund the project’s goals.
The TON Foundation has also branched out towards decentralized finance (defi) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Disintar.io, a TON-based NFT marketplace, was just launched by the foundation.

The TON Foundation noted, “On Disintar.io, users can purchase, sell, and list NFTs without having any technical skills.” Toncoin reached an all-time high (ATH) of $5.29 per unit on November 12, 2021, six months ago.
Toncoin’s USD value has dropped 64.8 percent since then, compared to the all-time high. Toncoin is now trading for $1.86 per unit, with a daily trade volume of around $2,746,626.
