Tiffany Haddish Arrested for Driving Under the Influence in Los Angeles – Tiffany Haddish was arrested in Los Angeles early on Friday on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to authorities. This marks the second time in less than two years that the actor and comedian has faced such allegations. Beverly Hills police discovered Tiffany Haddish, 43, when responding to a call to assist a motorist halted in the road around 5:45 am.
Officers found Haddish seemingly slumped over the steering wheel of the running vehicle. TMZ acquired footage depicting two officers handcuffing Tiffany Haddish and escorting her into the back of a patrol cruiser. Following her DUI citation, she was released later that Friday. The Emmy and Grammy winner’s arrest followed her performance at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles on Thursday night, which was part of the comedy club’s annual free Thanksgiving feast for the community.

During that episode, Peachtree City, Georgia police encountered Haddish in response to a 2:30 am call about a motorist asleep on a highway. Officers stopped Haddish as she pulled a car into a home’s yard. Suspecting marijuana use, authorities booked her for driving under the influence. Haddish posted a $1,666 bond for release while awaiting the case resolution, with her trial tentatively scheduled for January.
Between the two arrests, there was another significant legal issue that Haddish denied and was eventually dismissed. However, the entertainer expressed concern that it posed a threat to her career. In a widely reported lawsuit in September 2022, a woman claimed that she and her brother were sexually abused as children by Haddish and fellow comedian Aries Spears.
Both accused entertainers rejected the claims in separate statements, and the plaintiff dropped the case within a few weeks. Haddish later publicly said she “lost everything” after the lawsuit, though she has since starred in several prominent productions, including Disney’s horror comedy The Haunted Mansion.
