Tracker Shows Close to 3000 Crypto ATMs Were Installed in 2022’s First Quarter – The number of cryptocurrency automated teller machines installed has increased exponentially in the last 12 months, with data suggesting that 20,000 crypto ATMs were installed last year.
This year, machines are still being placed in large numbers, with 2,759 devices added to the list of 36,659 crypto ATMs globally since December 30.
There are currently 36,659 cryptocurrency ATMs in 76 countries, according to the cryptocurrency ATM tracker coinatmradar.com. The number of crypto ATMs has increased substantially over time, with 2021 seeing the greatest annual increase so far, with over 20,000 units added during the year.

As of the end of the first quarter of 2022, there were 36,659 crypto ATMs available, according to coinatmradar.com. There were also 33,900 crypto ATMs reported around the world, meaning that 2,759 crypto ATMs had already been installed in the previous 93 days.
The 36,659 machines are currently overseen by 612 operators, an increase of 8.13 percent since December 30. Among the operators are Coin Cloud, Bitcoin of America, Bitcoin Depot, and Coinflip. General Bytes, Genesiscoin, Coinsource, Bitaccess, Bitstop, and others are among the 43 crypto ATM manufacturers.
With 7,001 crypto ATMs installed around the world, Bitcoin Depot is the most popular operator. Coin Cloud is the second-largest operator, with 5,198 crypto ATMs in operation. Coin Cloud controls 14.2% of the 36,659 machines, while Bitcoin Depot controls 19.1%.

Canada has the second-highest number of crypto ATMs, with 2,439 in total. Following the United States and Canada are Poland (180), Spain (225), Switzerland (147), and El Salvador (204).
Genesis Coin has 41.6 percent of the global market share for crypto ATM installations by manufacturer. General Bytes is the second most popular manufacturer of crypto ATMs, with 21.4 percent of the global market. Following Genesis Coin and General Bytes are Bitaccess (15.2%), Coinsource (5.3%), Bitstop (4.6%), Bytefederal (3.7%), and “other” producers (8.2 percent).
