Shiba Inu Presents SHIB Metaverse With Over 100K Land Plots – Shiba Inu, one of the meme-tokens that followed in the steps of dogecoin, the first meme-coin, has announced the beginning of its own metaverse effort.
The project, dubbed “Shib: The Metaverse,” will integrate directly with Shiboshis, a set of NFTs that the team previously released. This project will be produced by an unknown third-party game studio, according to the team.
According to a press release from the project team:
“Shib: The Metaverse is the virtual pinnacle of our community’s history, depicted in a layer of exquisite aesthetics that demonstrate our innovation and solidarity while also offering a place to call home.”

Furthermore, the statement states that all of the Shiba Inu environment’s tokens will play a significant role in the metaverse, and also that the community will have “a great deal of engagement” in this virtual world.
When compared to similar projects, “Shib: The Metaverse” promises to have one of the largest land maps. More than 100K land plots will be constructed, according to the team, and these will be able to be used for more than just adornment.
While the Shiba Inu development team did not elaborate on how these plots will be monetized, they did say:
“In Shib: The Metaverse, users who own land will be able to generate rewards, earn passive income, and gather in-game resources.”
The team will keep a portion of these plots to serve as common ground for players moving throughout the metaverse’s map. Each of these plots will be priced differently based on which levels of the metaverse it belongs to.
The company had to explain why the cost of the land plots were advertised in ether rather than SHIB, the project’s native token. They expressed the following on this subject:
“Because the cash raised will be used to fund Metaverse development, the team has decided to utilize a neutral coin that can be sold for stablecoins to pay all of the sources.”
