The Central African Republic Says Sale of 210 Million Sango Crypto Tokens to Commence in Late July – The Sango coin will start being sold on July 25 for the equivalent of $0.10 in the Central African Republic (CAR), the only country in Africa to declare bitcoin official tender. According to a different report, the sale will start on July 21.
The minimum purchase price for the crypto token, which has been dubbed the country’s digital currency, is $500, and payment must be made in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum.
A total of 210,000,000 tokens will be made available to cryptocurrency enthusiasts who are interested in taking part in the project, according to information on the Sango coin website. Investors who take part in the CAR’s “powered by the bitcoin blockchain” first digital currency system have the chance to become citizens of the African country.
“Join the digital transformation of the Central African Republic today. Both local and the first Citizenship Program in the Metaverse: a future of endless possibilities are awaiting you,” a promotional message on the Sango website states.
A piece of real estate property and a plot in the metaverse will also be given to token buyers. Investors in the Sango coin who secure their tokens will also receive e-residency status from the CAR.

The CAR seeks to increase internet accessibility and availability by increasing investment in the telecommunications infrastructure, according to a roadmap outlining the country’s ambitious cryptocurrency goal on the website. The CAR will be able to go forward with the establishment of the national bitcoin treasury with the aid of improved internet access.
The Sango concept deck shows that the CAR is not backing down, despite criticism from some bitcoiners who questioned the debut of the cryptocurrency token. Instead, it appears from the concept card that the CAR intends to add Sango coins to its list of accepted payment methods.
