Dapper Labs and Spanish Soccer League Laliga Launch Memorable Moments NFT Platform Laliga Golazos – Laliga, Spain’s premier soccer league, is venturing into the world of digital collectibles. Laliga Golazos, the company’s own NFT platform, was recently launched. The service, developed in collaboration with NBA Top Shots developer Dapper Labs, aims to connect fans with some of Spanish soccer’s most iconic moments.
Laliga Golazos aims to deliver videos of the league’s most spectacular moments and games from 2005 to the present. The name Golazos is derived from the Spanish word “gol,” which means “goal,” and refers to the league’s best scoring moments. Users will be able to view various angles of some of the games while listening to the official play-by-play narration.

Moments will include “amazing dribbles and skills, extraordinary assists, incredible saves, great defensive actions, and the goals that millions of fans around the world celebrate,” according to a press release. Each of these moments will be assigned a level of rarity, with rarer moments receiving less issuance than others, and will be distributed on top of the Flow blockchain, which is said to be optimized for this type of application.
Jorge Urrutia del Pozo, general manager of Laliga Golazos for Dapper Labs, stated about the new platform: “Laliga Golazos will enable fans to own a piece of Laliga history and participate in a whole new kind of football community that recognizes and rewards them for their fandom.” The platform is currently in a closed beta phase and is expected to launch its first NFT drop on October 27.

In addition, the company has licensed its intellectual property (IP) to be included in Decentraland, allowing it to offer a variety of experiences on a portion of the Ethereum-based metaverse platform.
