World’s Largest Family-Owned Private Bank Now Offers Crypto Investments via SEBA Bank – LGT Group, the world’s largest family-owned private banking and asset management organization, has announced that its parent company’s banking institution would now offer cryptocurrency investments. The Royal House of Liechtenstein owns the LGT Group, which has been around for over 100 years.
LGT Bank has chosen SEBA Bank as a cryptocurrency partner, according to SEBA Bank, a FINMA-licensed digital assets banking platform. LGT will use SEBA’s regulated crypto platform and custody services to allow its customers to invest in cryptocurrencies. Customers’ desire for crypto products has surged, according to Roland Matt, CEO of LGT Bank, Liechtenstein.
“In recent years, our clients’ desire for cryptocurrencies has also increased,” the LGT CEO stated in a statement on Wednesday. “We are delighted to be able to provide our clients with easy access to these asset classes.” We focused on clear, trustworthy processes and procedures when building our new service, and we paid special attention to security.”

LGT and its clients will use “SEBA Bank’s ISAE 3402 accredited hot and cold storage custody solutions,” with the bank allowing bitcoin (BTC) and ethereum (ETH) investments. Initially, the crypto investment possibility will only be available to LGT’s “selected client groups.”
Customers interested in the crypto services must also be residents of Liechtenstein or Switzerland, according to the bank. SEBA Bank’s CEO, Franz Bergmüller, stated on Wednesday that the bank is looking forward to cooperating with LGT Bank.
