Microsoft Starts Multi-Month Design Experiment With the Xbox User Interface – As Microsoft tries to determine what works and what doesn’t, certain subsets of Xbox Insiders may experience layout and design modifications. The Xbox user interface will soon undergo a significant upgrade, but unless you’re an Xbox Insider, it will be months before you can view the new features.
The Xbox user interface and homepage design will be the subject of this week’s “multi-month series of experiments,” according to Ivy Krislov, Senior Product Manager Lead, Xbox Experiences, who made the announcement via Xbox Wire.
Only Xbox Insiders in the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring will be able to see the tests, and those qualified to take part will gradually start to see improvements to the interface’s layout, design, and accessibility. You may see more experiments with curated gaming channels and collections by scrolling down the updated UI.
