Former Seattle Seahawk Duane Brown Arrested With Gun in Luggage at LAX Airport – Duane Brown, a free agent for the NFL, was arrested on Saturday after attempting to board a flight at LAX while carrying a gun.
The defensive tackle, 36, was arrested after a TSA agent conducted a routine search of his bag and discovered a gun at Terminal 6 in Los Angeles, where he was scheduled to board a flight out of the city, at around 2:00 p.m.
It was not obvious whether the gun was loaded, according to Lt. Karla Rodriguez of the LAX airport police. The 6’4″, 315lb professional athlete is seen on surveillance footage being led by police through the airport in handcuffs before being loaded into the back of a police cruiser. He is wearing a black T-shirt and shorts.

According to Rodriguez, Brown was apprehended and lodged at the LAPD Pacific Jail. He was accused of having a firearm in his possession, a crime punishable by up to a year in jail, according to the police.
When Brown tested positive for the performance-enhancing anabolic drug clenbuterol in 2015, his career hit a snag. He was given a 10-game suspension for using the illegal substance, but he was able to avoid it by claiming that he had eaten some contaminated meat while traveling in Mexico.
The 10 hamburgers and 2 steaks Brown consumed during a week-long vacation south of the border, according to the NFL Players Association, contained the substance.
