Madonna Now Owns Bored Ape NFT – Madonna is the latest celebrity to acquire a piece from the NFT’s most important collection. Madonna, the undisputed Queen of Pop, announced her entry into the Metaverse by purchasing a non-fungible Bored Ape token on Instagram.
The megastar’s NFT includes a bored-looking monkey wearing a black leather helmet. The 63-year-old music queen is known for her daring songs and performances.
In her post, she thanked MoonPay, a cryptocurrency concierge firm that buys Bored Ape NFTs at a premium to subsequently present to wealthy celebrity clients.

Madonna’s entry into NFTs was not well received by her fans. One person remarked, “Please delete this.” Another fan advised the pop icon not to jeopardize his illustrious musical heritage by endorsing dubious cryptocurrency initiatives.
The majority of the responses reflect the growing anti-NFT stance. “Another commenter expressed disappointment, saying, “I’ve always looked up to you, but this is incredibly sad.”
Madonna joins musicians Justin Bieber and Eminem as the most high-profile celebrity to join the NFT trend thus far. Despite having had minimal economic success in the last decade, she is still the most successful female artist of all time, having sold over 300 million albums worldwide.

She managed to stay at the top of the pop music market for decades after making her fortune in the mid-’80s with her diamond-certified album “Like a Virgin.” Despite waning popularity in the United States, Madonna’s electro-pop disco album “Confessions on a Dance Floor” topped the charts in Europe in the mid-2000s.
In 2018, the pop star teamed up with Ripple, a blockchain business, to collect money for orphans in Miami.
