Twitter Blue expands to more than 20 countries – Twitter Blue, the paid subscription service of Twitter, is now accessible in over 20 additional European countries. These countries include Netherlands, Poland, Ireland, Belgium, Sweden, Romania, Czech Republic, Finland, Denmark, Greece, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovakia, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Croatia, Luxembourg, Malta, and Cyprus.
With this expansion, Twitter Blue is now accessible in over 35 countries worldwide, making the social network’s subscription service available in more regions. Twitter Blue was initially launched by Elon Musk in December, offering a Blue verification mark to paying users at a monthly price of $8. Subsequently, the company added several features to the service, such as the capability to post videos up to 60 minutes in length, tweets up to 4,000 characters, and the privilege of being given priority in conversations.

Additionally, the subscription plan includes some older features like the ability to edit tweets, a thread reader, and bookmark folders. In an effort to boost its number of subscribers, Twitter introduced an annual plan in January, priced at $84 per year. Recently, Twitter has also made the annual plan available on both iOS and Android platforms at a cost of $114. Although Musk has been relying on subscription plans to generate significant revenue, the initial outcomes have not been promising.
Based on estimates and reports, the recently launched Twitter Blue service has garnered fewer than 300,000 subscribers. Earlier this week, several users encountered difficulties accessing various sections of Twitter, such as timelines, searches, and direct messages. These problems emerged after Musk allegedly terminated over 200 individuals in the most recent round of job cuts.
