Jamie Foxx and Daughter Corinne to Lead Musical Celebrity Game Show – In Monday’s announcement, FOX revealed that Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne Foxx are set to co-host a new music game show titled “We Are Family.” The show, expected to premiere in 2024, will include a celebrity and their non-famous relative as contestants in a guessing game where the celebrity’s identity remains a mystery until guessed correctly.
Just like in The Masked Singer, the contestants in “We Are Family” will receive hints to aid in recognizing the celebrity. If the studio audience can correctly identify the star, there is a chance to win up to $100,000. The audience’s task is to use the clues provided to identify the celebrity guest. “We are thrilled to be developing We Are Family with Jeff Apploff and our friends at FOX Entertainment after so much success with six seasons of Beat Shazam,”

Jamie, 55, and Corinne, 29, said in a joint statement. “We hope this show brings as much fun to audiences at home as we’ve had creating it when it premieres next year.” Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne Foxx are no strangers to hosting music-themed television programs. They are currently the hosts of “Beat Shazam” on FOX, where contestants must correctly guess a song to accumulate money towards their prize.
Recently, Jamie suffered a health scare which led to hospitalizatio. While the specific details of his medical condition have not been disclosed, Corinne acknowledged that a “medical complication” occurred in mid-April. However, Corinne announced last week that her father has been at home for some time now, despite the family being prepared for the worst. Meanwhile, Kelly Osbourne filled in for Corinne Foxx on “Beat Shazam,” and she expressed that it was an honor to do so and she hoped to live up to Corinne’s standards.
“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild,” she said in a since-expired Instagram Story. “My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating.” Corinne also teased a “work announcement” on the horizon. FOX has recently announced that Nick Cannon will temporarily replace Jamie Foxx as the host of “Beat Shazam” while Jamie continues to recover from his undisclosed medical condition. In the meantime, Kelly Osbourne has also stepped in for Jamie’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, who is taking a temporary leave of absence from the show.
